Do you (or your child) want to learn a specific technique, or improve your composition and technical skills? Maybe you need help past a creative block, are looking for a way to relieve stress, or just want to learn how to capture the ideas in your head. These are all on offer with private classes!
With a degree in Fine Art and experience in a multitude of educational communities and institutions, I can meet you where you are and help you reach your creative goals – no matter how nebulous they may be.
Receive personalized art instruction in a structure of your choice. We’ll meet either at my home studio in Crozet, VA, or at a location of your choosing. Private classes can accommodate groups up to 4, with each additional person costing $10.

printmaking, drawing (pen, pencil, or colored pencils), watercolor, bookbinding, box building, papercraft, puppetry, web design, social media, technical topics (like websites and ecommerce)
principles
composition (including balance, movement, scale, proportion), workmanship, drawing from life (observation and translation), drawing from the imagination, color theory, realism, developing a personal style, working symbolically, personal expression and therapy, object design and construction
custom workshops
Bring me in for a birthday party, team-building session, or crowd participation at a large event. This mobile printmaking party can be adapted for most age groups, contexts, and levels of experience.
All materials are included, and participants get to take home their own artwork!
